“We arrived on a Friday afternoon and picked this place for proximity to Foxwoods for a convention we were attending. Kim met us immediately and was very friendly and welcoming. The house was spotless, and I mean spotless! There were fresh eggs and clementines for us to enjoy. The house was beautifully decorated and the views were incredible! The house was a dream for our daughter, equipped with child sized robes and a gorgeous bed.”

This is a perfect location! The amenities are above and beyond. the setting superb! Our host Kim was excellent! Our dogs, Mia and Mickey loved the farm and meeting the animals there. A perfect stay.

We (a family of 3) had a perfect 2-week family retreat at Kim’s farm house. The house was immaculate and beautifully renovated with lots of thoughtful details. Kim has literally prepared everything we would ever need during our stay. She even set up a dream room for our little girl with the coolest bed, loads of children’s books and toys, and a desk full of drawing supplies. Our little one screamed when she saw the room and said it was the best room ever!

The guest house is very private - completely separate from the main house and comes with its own private deck with a grill where we enjoyed a few meals. Overall this is a very unique property in the sense that you get all the modern comfort and luxury amidst the rustic countryside charm. Kim is a fantastic host - having worked with the luxury travel space for many years, she really knows how to create a memorable experience for the guests. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time from the start to the end.

“As newlyweds, this mini getaway was perfect for us to spend quality time. We enjoyed seeing the animals from our windows, taking photos and observing the farm life. With both casinos close by, we were able to enjoy both the quiet side of Connecticut and the busy side. We enjoyed a few nights at the casino and came back to our private stay on the farm. We can’t wait to bring our families back to see this gem of a place. Our host, Kim made sure she did her best to keep us comfortable and warm! Highly recommend this stay!”

“What a special holiday getaway!! We decided to book a remote getaway to celebrate our son's first Christmas, and we could not have been happier with our decision! 100 Acre Wood was the perfect home away from home. The guesthouse was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and stocked with all amenities needed for the perfect respite. Kim was an incredible host – she would check in frequently but was never intrusive, did a load of laundry for us, and even set up a Christmas tree and left us a Christmas surprise gift! We loved visiting with the farm animals, and got to see Millie before we headed out. We were only sad to have to leave after such a short visit and were so grateful when Kim allowed us to check out late. We will be sure to return!”

“Wish I could give more than 5 stars! Our stay at 100 acre woods was great. Kim has thought of so many details that made our stay really enjoyable. We loved getting to roam the farm land and feed the animals and the guest house was so warm and inviting. Wish we could have stayed longer. Kim was so communicative and made the experience so easy. Easy drive to surrounding areas and the coastline, but we really enjoyed being on the farm. Can't wait to go back!”

“I work remotely and was looking for a beautiful place to work out of for a few days, just for a change of scenery. 100 Acre Inn was the perfect solution to needing a little more nature in my every day! The style of the guesthouse is the ultimate combination of rustic and modern with enough space for both my husband and I to work without getting in each other’s way. The animals are delightful and friendly and the surroundings are serene! Kim was extremely communicative and attentive to any needs I had. I definitely hope to see this farm in other seasons!”

We are huge animal lovers and this was the perfect place for us to stay! We loved seeing Milly, Milo, and all the horses chickens and cows! The location is awesome, definitely remote enough for peace and quiet but close enough to a few towns that there are plenty of dining and entertainment options. “Our stay was delightful. The farm is incredibly magical, and nothing is like waking up in the morning and taking in the picturesque view of chickens and a pig roaming around the properly and horses and cows out grazing. The house is all completely renovated with incredible style and comfort in mind. Top quality items are sprinkled throughout the house and no detail was overlooked. We absolutely loved the farm fresh eggs in the morning and really didn’t want to leave to sightsee, as the farm and house were just perfect!”

Kim & Yuri’s home was exactly that. A home. We felt so welcomed & healed by the atmosphere at the Farm. (plus that bed is A DREAM! I have never slept that peacefully in my entire life)

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful farm! Everything was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable, and host was super friendly and accommodating. There is an array of charming animals on the farm, from Millie the pig to two adorable miniature horses. The farm was in a great location, with plenty of beautiful places to visit that were a short drive away. We really enjoyed the farmer’s market at the velvet mill, and walks on conservation land.

We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here!! We loved the idyllic location and view, and we had so much fun interacting with the horses, ducklings and of course Milly the pig! The house itself is beautiful, appointed with everything you could possibly need and decorated with impeccable style. There are even kids' toys and games, which we appreciated...and the farm-fresh eggs in the refrigerator were delicious! Kim is truly the hostess with the mostess, easy to communicate with and lovely in person! Of all the Airbnbs we've stayed in, this one goes down as one of the very best!! We'll be back as soon as we can!!
